The bus staff handed him over to a tea shopkeeper at the Dinajpur-Doshmile junction early in the morning and requested he is transferred to the Dinajpur bus in the morning. But after some time Kotwali Police Patrol Pickup arrived. The girl was forcibly picked up in a pickup saying that she would be delivered home. After raping the girl on the way, he killed her and dumped her body on the highway. Dinajpur was in turmoil from August 24 to 27 due to the protest movement of the people of Dinajpur due to this incident. Seven protesters lost their lives in police firing. Two hundred were injured. The movement spread across the country, including Dinajpur.

A movie is being made about Yasmin. The name of the film is 'Ami Yasmin Bolchi'. Bidya Sinha Saha Mim will play the role of Yasmin. He signed a contract for the movie last Wednesday night. Although he acted in many films in his acting career, Mim came into the limelight after the release of 'Poran' and 'Damal' in the middle of last year.

He said, after the release of the two movies 'Poran' and 'Damal', he got offers to act in several movies. After getting the script in hand, he proceeded with understanding. So after many days, he joined the new movie.

Mim is currently acting in 'Manush' opposite Kolkata actor Jeet. Left for Kolkata yesterday morning to participate in the third phase shooting of the movie.

Mim said, 'After the release of "Poran" and "Damal", I am not working on all kinds of screenplays. I am undertaking the work of the movie with a little thought. I was talking to the director about this movie for six months. When I read the story based on a true story, I cried.

Mim said that he will start preparing for the role soon. He said, 'Shooting is not starting before next April. Lose weight. I will start preparing after returning from Kolkata. Hopefully, it will be possible before the shooting of the movie will be directed by Sumon Dhar. Earlier he made a web film called 'Chithi' for Chorki. He said that he has been working on the story of the movie 'Ami Yasmin Bolchi' for two years.

Sumon Dhar said, “It took almost two years to get permission from Yasmin's family for the story. At first, they did not agree. Yasmin's mother allowed it after explaining that Yasmin would live through the movie. I have started working on the screenplay with written permission from the family.

When asked when the shooting of the movie will start, the director said, "Mim is preparing for the role of Yasmin". Apart from that, I have to sit and practice with Mim for a few days along with the screenplay. Now the final work of script development is going on. Hopefully, I can start shooting in April.

The director said that 50 percent of the movie will be shot in Dinajpur, the setting of the story. I will finish Dhaka by making the rest of the work sets.
