Storyline: The film's title, "Pippa", is a tribute to the legendary Russian amphibious war tank the PT-76, which played a crucial role in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. The tank was nicknamed "Pippa" by the Indian soldiers, who compared it to an empty tin of ghee that could float on water. The film follows the journey of a young and ambitious Mehta, who dreams of becoming a tank commander and making his mark in history. He gets his chance when he is assigned to lead a squadron of Pippas in the Battle of Garibpur, one of the first and most decisive battles of the war. Mehta and his men face overwhelming odds, as they are outnumbered and outgunned by the Pakistani forces. However, they also have a secret weapon: a spy named Zara, who infiltrates the enemy camp and provides them with vital information. Zara is a Bengali freedom fighter, who is fighting for the liberation of her homeland from Pakistan. She and Mehta develop a romantic bond, as they share their hopes and fears. The film climaxes with a thrilling and heroic tank battle, in which Mehta and his Pippas manage to break through the enemy lines and enter Pakistani territory, paving the way for India's victory and the creation of Bangladesh. The film is a celebration of courage, patriotism, and love, as well as a tribute to the unsung heroes of the war.
