The proverb 'Baap ka beta' means the praise of the child. Ritu Raj is no exception. Suvashish Bhowmick's successor has proved it. The father and son's band 'Baap ka beta' is now very popular and on the list of favorites.

Music lover Shuvashish Bhowmick formed the band 'Baap ka beta' with his son in July 2019. He also opened a page on Facebook with the same name. Where the duo has released covers of more than 30 popular songs sung by different artists. Those songs with magical voices have gone viral and garnered huge acclaim.

Singer Ritu Raj has written a book to change his Ritu. The 8-year-old artist is about to make his debut as a writer. For the first time, he started writing with a storybook. If all goes well, the book will be published at the upcoming Bengali Life Festival Book Fair.

This little author has written 10 fun stories for kids in his book. At the end of each story, of course, there is some moral teaching. He hopes that 6 to 12-year-olds will have a lot of fun reading and learning something.

Regarding the interest in writing books by Ritu Raj Bhowmick, his father Shuvashish said, "For about 1.5 years, we first tried to get him interested in reading books. Besides, my mother used to tell him funny stories every day before going to bed. In this way, he gradually became addicted to reading books. We also encourage her to write. We also ask her to write about the experience when we visit somewhere. This is how he became interested in writing stories and today he is on the way to implementing them. Ritu Raj finished writing the book 6 months ago. But due to various engagements, the work of illustration was not started. Illustration work is currently underway.

Shuvashish Bhowmick added, 'It is a matter of pride for me as a father. To this day no one in our family has written a book. That is why I am so happy. I want him to keep this habit. In this way, other children will also be interested in reading books and writing books. And thus a civil society will be built. So we thought, we will spend the full amount of the dividends earned from this book on the education of disadvantaged children and on educating the children about climate change. The decision was taken in consultation with him.

Regarding the future of Ritu Raj, Shuvashish said that he will decide for himself what he will do when he grows up. I don't want to force him. Rather I am always ready to keep him mentally strong in case of any failure. Then I'll just see if he tried. Besides, I will try to inform him about the things that I have knowledge about. Honestly, Ritu Raj is quite excited about his book coming out and mentions the names of some of his friends in the character of the story inside the book. She is curious to know what her friends will say to her after reading the book.
