India's famous tiktok star Samir Gaikwad (22) is no more. The star committed suicide at his residence in Ogholi, Pune last Sunday (February 21). India's entertainment-based media, Filmibit.com, reported the news.
The creator of this video was very popular among the youth. He used to post thought provoking videos on Instagram handle. The news has caused grief among Samir's fans.
Citing Marathi daily Loksatta, Filmibit further said that Samir Gaikwad was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room at the Nikasa Society residence in Ogholi, Pune. Later, Samir's brother Prafulla Gaikwad informed the Lonikanda police station. Samir's family took him to Lifeline Hospital, where doctors on duty declared the star dead.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and have yet to uncover the exact cause of the suicide. A police official told the daily that they had not received any suicide note. Note that Samir posted a video on Instagram that day. Fans mourn the news of Samir's death. They have expressed deep sympathy for the deceased through social media.
Samir's family includes his parents and brother. He was a student of Wadia College, Pune.
