For several years now, Nayak Jit has been making commercial films from his own production company in a mix of action and comedy. This is the first exception. Sauvik Kundu, a young director. Of course, this would not have been possible without the producer's approval. Sauvik explained in the first film that a clean joy can be given to the audience with the ingredients of Bangaliana.

‘Switzerland’ is an old-fashioned film, where even in the midst of a middle-class world, there is an urge for human appeal, sympathy, dreams, dream fulfillment. Where on the one hand, just as husband and wife co-operate with each other in secret, the demands of reality are sometimes misunderstood and sometimes compromised. In the story, Rumi (Rukmini Maitra) and Beldanga's 'Tarakata' Shibu (Abir Chatterjee) are a happy couple with their two cute children named Riya and Dia. There is no trouble in the world, no unrest. This does not last long. As soon as the unrest started, the family got together. Suddenly Rumi tells some lies to respect her husband. Shibu also said that they are going to visit Switzerland very soon. Those who have not been able to reach Dipuda, Digha, Puri, or at least Darjeeling before, will go to Switzerland. This time, the middle-class Shibur is struggling to find a place to visit the heavenly Europe of his dreams. When Shibu was forced to earn extra money to raise money for traveling.

Probably the sweetest ending was stuck in Sauvik's screenplay, or the producer might have been even more so! So the last 15 minutes of the picture is like an extra tail. Unnecessary! There are some wonderful moments throughout almost the whole picture. Whether it's romantic naughtiness, or domestic tensions, creating a close-knit environment with children, or going to gamble with office worker Khokon - everywhere Sauvik has worked very sincerely. Sounds pretty good, the outstanding presence of a small family on the sidewalk in front of Rumi's flat. But the director could not be a little restrained! He also made this mistake by spreading the warmth of human appeal over and over again. Hopefully, he will be careful in the future. Being commercial does not mean compromise!

The technical department of the film has also left an impression of considerable skill. The camera, background, beautiful song placement, editing work is quite brilliant. Such as the performances of artists. The first name must be Rukmini Maitra in the role of Rumi. He is the lifeblood of the film. What a normal, relaxed characterization of him. Rukmini's domestic image blends beautifully with the character. Rumi is the best he has ever photographed. The star Shibu i.e. Abir Chatterjee has brought the mood of the middle-class youth to normal acting. And there is the old Arun Mukherjee in the role of the old neighbor. Old rice is still quite fragrant! Ambareesh is slowly becoming the longboat of the hero like the previous Anupkumar, Shubhashis, Kanchan. However, I do not understand why no one is using the throat of his song. However, I will say that ‘Switzerland’ is an exception in many ways in the current commercial formula of Bengali film. The whole exception did not have to be.
