| Black War – Mission Extreme 2 Movie Review |
Usually, when a film has two parts, the first one turns out brilliant and the second one isn't as good.
With Mission Extreme, it's the opposite: the first part failed to meet expectations, and the second one is brilliant.
Because I didn't like Mission Extreme, I naturally had few expectations for Black War. But what Black War delivered deserves praise.
Personally, I think it would have been best if Mission Extreme had been completed in one part instead of two. Then again, at one point I felt that with so many characters and so much story, making two parts was only natural.
Those who have seen Mission Extreme know that it is a film about terrorism. Black War mainly moves forward through the actions of the police and the terrorists.
Arifin Shuvoo: Those who had doubts about Arifin Shuvoo's acting will find their answer in this film. Shuvoo didn't just build his body; he has improved a great deal in acting, which was quite noticeable. If we talk about the plus points of this film, Shuvoo's acting has to be mentioned.
Sadia Nabila: You could say she is the heroine of this film. Her acting was good enough, and she was impressive during the operation scenes as well.
Jannatul Ferdous Oishee: Her character is not very significant. She acted in a measured way, with no affectation.
Sumit Sengupta: He was good in his role. As a police officer he was just right, with no overacting.
Taskin Ahmed: Those who have seen Mission Extreme know that he played the terrorist in this film. He was in the most important role in the film.
Apart from that, everyone else, including Misha and Shatabdi Wadud, was fine.
The VFX, dialogue, cinematography, and color grading were fine. The BGM deserves special mention, as it was excellent. Black War is a great piece of work by directors Sunny Sarwar and Faisal Ahmed.
