Ponyo (2008) Review: How can a simple story be so charming?

Storyline: The son of a sailor, 5-year-old Sosuke lives a quiet life on an oceanside cliff with his mother Lisa. One fateful day, he finds a beautiful goldfish trapped in a bottle on the beach and upon rescuing her, names her Ponyo. But she is no ordinary goldfish. The daughter of a masterful wizard and a sea goddess, Ponyo uses her father's magic to transform herself into a young girl and quickly falls in love with Sosuke, but the use of such powerful sorcery causes a dangerous imbalance in the world. As the moon steadily draws nearer to the earth and Ponyo's father sends the ocean's mighty waves to find his daughter, the two children embark on an adventure of a lifetime to save the world and fulfill Ponyo's dreams of becoming human.

How many movies have I seen in my life but it is not possible to express the feeling that I get from inside while watching the work of Ghibli studio.

The first time I saw Studio Ghibli's work was 'Spirited Away' I sat down to watch the movie with high hopes and it did not disappoint.

After watching Spirited Way, I became a fan of Hayao Miyazaki. Now I saw his movie Ponyo (2008) and fell in love with him after watching it I mean how can a simple story be so charming?

Story: A little boy named Sosuke lives by the sea. One day he rescues a goldfish (A goldfish prince) who looks a bit like a human on the seashore and names him Ponyo, then the two become friends and "They Fall In Love". ponyo now wants to be human (the balance of nature starts to upset after ponyo becomes human).Studio Ghibli films have a magical way of transporting you to different worlds. I mean the movie starts so beautifully. This movie is mainly made especially for children and the simplicity of this movie will charm people of any age. I watched the movie in English dubbing and the solid voices in the English dubbing were just soothing to the ears especially Sosuke's mother's voice. I liked every character of the movie starting from the side character to the main character. Even though the story is nothing special, the moments are so cute and beautifully shown that there was a very beautiful feeling from inside. It's The Cutest Iam Just Obsessed With It.
