The Zone of Interest (Film) Review

There is a word called Voice of Film. This movie is a visual proof of that.

Plot: A normal happy family. Beautiful relationship of husband and wife, happy life of children. But right on the other side of the wall, countless Jews are being slaughtered in Narmedha Yajna. Because the commander of the camp and his family built their dream house right next to the infamous Auschwitz camp.

Headphones are a must for this movie. Because the movie Disturbing didn't show anything, but said a lot.

If you say it like that, it will be nothing but a daily life diary of a family man. But if you listen carefully, you can hear gunshots in the background and even the screams of the prisoners. And this is the main USP of the movie!! Just like the saying that criminal psychopaths look strangely normal. And about the ending, it seems that a whole paragraph can be written easily.
Nothing inside Auschwitz is shown here, not even a single frame of prisoners of war. But you will feel every moment what is actually happening.

The camera work was amazing, it felt like it was being shown from someone's POV. The idea of showing the night scenes in Infrared is also quite surprising.

Apart from the violence, this film is a classic example of a war drama. If it wasn't for Anatomy of a Fall, maybe the Oscar would have won.

Happy watching.
