'Oshomoy' Review: Like a big screen release

Director Kajal Arefin Ome's work is loved by almost everyone. Many believe, say what the audience wants to say. Don't listen to critics. So it is not that all the works of Kajal Arefin Ome are extraordinary like all the other producers of the world. Some work is great, some work is mediocre, and sometimes some work is disappointing. Bongo BD productions 'Oshomoy' will fall into the first category. Great story idea, crafty production, combination of great actors will make you enjoy the whole time of watching 'Oshomoy'.

Kajal Arefin Ome managed to keep everyone on their seats at the premiere show at star Cineplex. I don't want to get into a debate as to who will be ahead of whom among the performers. However, the pair of Iresh Zaker-Sharaf Ahmed Jibon was one of the 'highlights' of this movie. Bromance is not seen much in our TV movies. Thanks to Kajal Arefin Ome for these two characters. The characters of S.I Mokhles and journalist Halim are written like magic. The characters would lose credibility if they were a little bit different. But the Sharaf Ahmed Jibon-Iresh Zaker duo excels with their talent and director Kajal Arefin Ome's skillful direction. If 'Oshomoy' had been a big screen film, both Iresh Zaker and Sharaf Ahmed Jibon would have won National Film Awards for comic performances for sure.

Runa Khan is one of the best Bangladeshi actresses I have ever seen. Whether or not he has dialogue on screen, he captures any character very powerfully. Intekhab Dinar-Runa Khan They are both amazing actors of Bangladesh. Of course, it's not just me, after a scene where the two have a battle of words in the bedroom, the packed audience claps and explains: Dinar-Runa Unrivaled-Sera.

Tariq Anam Khan recently stepped out of his familiar character and showed himself a somewhat different character. The power of his acting makes any ordinary scene extraordinary. Monira Mithu is another favorite actress. Seeing his performance in several scenes, the surrounding audience was saying: How does he do such a fluent, believable performance?

We all know that Tasnia Farin is one of the best young actresses right now. Tasnia Farin broke herself again and again in the role of 'Urbi'. Tasnia Farin explained Urbi's suffering and frustration in many scenes with her eyes, without resorting to dialogue.

Ziaul Hoque Polash is a good actor, a good producer, a good human being from the beginning. Everyone understood how popular ziaul Hoque Polash is at the premiere show. The amount of applause Ziaul Hoque Polash has received in his short presence is enviable to many.

Shimul Sharma, Lamima Lam are very fluent as always. Their acting gave life to the story.

As long as Shashwat Datta was on screen, good. However, Shashwat Datta had much more to offer. Everyone, including Abdullah Rana, who played small and big roles, tried to give their best.

I don't want to watch 'Oshomoy' sitting at home. With some refinements, adjustments, 'Oshomoy' could have easily been gifted to the big screen audience. Kajal Arefin Ome movie stories should not be spent in Tv Movie / OTT like this, may come to big screen very soon, some commercial / popular movie direction in the industry. Kudos to Ami and Bongo BD for gifting us good times at the beginning of the year with 'Oshomoy'.
