It is known that next year's Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be shifted to another country due to security reasons. 2024 PSL could be United Arab Emirates or South Africa. (PCB) plans to host PSL in other countries to provide full security to the cricketers.
Pakistan has general elections next year. The security personnel of the country will spend busy time in that work. Therefore, the government of Pakistan did not give permission to PCB to organize PSL in February-March next year. According to the country's government, it is not possible to provide security personnel during the PSL due to the elections. If PSL is organized at other times, foreign cricketers will not be available.
PSL usually starts from 19th or 20th of February every year. This franchise league runs for about a month.
