Rajshahi: Doctor killed on the way home after chamber
Dr. in the attack of miscreants in Rajshahi. A doctor named Kazem Ali Ahmed was murdered. Sunday (29 October) 11: 45pm; He was stabbed in the chest by a group of miscreants in Lakshmipur, Varnali area of the city on his way home after 45th chamber. Later the locals rescued him and took him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Rajshahi police box in-charge Mukul Hossain confirmed his death this morning. According to a source in the hospital, the deceased doctor Dr. Kazem Ali Ahmed was a dermatologist and venereal disease specialist. He used to see patients regularly at Rajshahi Islami Bank Medical College Hospital and Popular Diagnostic Center. He was returning home from the end of the chamber at the Popular Diagnostic Center in the Lakshmipur area on Sunday as usual. On the way, a group of miscreants stopped his motorcycle at Varnali stabbed him in the chest, and fled.
Later, the locals rescued him from the road and took him to the hospital. He died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Boalia Thana Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Suhrawardy did not receive a call regarding the matter. Therefore, no statement was received from him in this regard.
However, Rajshahi Medical College Hospital police box in-charge Mukul Hossain said that he was admitted to Ward No. 5 of the hospital with serious injuries. There, his condition deteriorated and he was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He died there shortly after. Currently, his body is in the hospital morgue.
