Classroom teaching in new curriculum 5 days: Education Minister Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dipu Moni said that the new curriculum will be taught in classrooms for five days. In response to questions from reporters at Chandpur Circuit House on Thursday, he said, "How long educational institutions will be closed is a matter of policy decision. Last year our curriculum consisted of six days of classroom teaching. When there was a power crisis, we taught for five days. The new curriculum will also be taught in the classroom for five days.

Regarding the appointment of teachers, Education Minister Dipu Moni said, "No teacher has been appointed in the previous 10 years in the technical department. Many teachers have been recruited in the last four years. Meanwhile, some teachers are always retiring. So some posts are getting vacant. Accordingly, we recruit teachers. This recruitment process is not very easy. At the moment we have no shortage of teachers. If there is a vacancy somewhere, it is being filled.

Deputy Commissioner Kamrul Hasan, Superintendent of Police Md. Milon Mahmud, District Awami League Organizing Secretary Tafazzal Hossain Patwari, Municipal Mayor Zillur Rahman Jewel, and government officials and political leaders were present.
