Human chain demanding proper investigation of the case against Nasir-Tamima
The Aid for Men Foundation has called for a proper investigation into Rakib's case against cricketer Nasir and his wife Tamima and for the digitalization of marriage registration.

At the time, he said, the recent marriage of cricketer Nasir and his wife Tamima Tammi has caused a lot of discussions. We demand a proper investigation of Rakib's case against cricketer Nasir and his wife Tamima and the digitalization of marriage registration.
Besides, Advocate Kawsar Hossain, Legal Adviser of the organization, Saiful Islam Nadeem, General Secretary of Aid for Men Foundation, Hadiuzzaman Palak, Convener of Dhaka District Branch, Alamgir Hossain, Joint Convener, and Iftekhar Hossain spoke.
In a written statement, Saiful Islam Nadeem, general secretary of the organization, said that the level of cheating by concealing marriage information is increasing day by day as marriage and divorce registration is not digital. Many people are suffering due to the unavailability of data verification and selection. So if marriage and divorce registration is digitized, the rate of this fraud will definitely decrease.
"I demand a proper investigation into the case filed by Rakib against cricketer Nasir and his wife Tamima," he said. Everyone should be vigilant so that no influential quarters can influence a proper investigation.
At the time, he added, "We want the correct answer to Rakib's claim and some of the information that came up in the media investigation." They are-
1. Rakib and Tamima's wedding cabinet has a dowry of Tk 3 lakh but the divorce notice sent by Tamima mentions a dowry of Tk 2 lakh.
2. Rakib claims that they never stayed at the home address mentioned by Tamima Tammi in the divorce notice.
3. Showing a copy of the divorce at the press conference, Tamima said that the copy of the divorce has also been sent to Bhairabpasha Union Parishad of Nalchiti Upazila, Rakib's village home. However, the union council secretary Maksudul Haque Maksud said he had not received any such notice till Thursday.
On Thursday, he said, such documents were sent by ordinary registered post. There is no reason not to come if it is sent by registered post. There is no evidence in our register of such notices. Moreover, we have re-verified after learning about the fights going on over this marriage but there is no record of any kind of notice coming.
4. It is seen that on December 23, 2016, he himself gave a divorce notice to Rakib Hasan. On the other hand, Rakib's lawyer Ishrat Hasan has attached the passport document in the case document against Nasir and Tamima. In 2018, Tamima mentioned Rakib Hasan's name in her husband's house in the passport issue. At the same time, the name of her husband Rakib Hasan is also mentioned in Emergency Conta. The members of the organization demanded an investigation considering these issues.
